About the Glaile mosaic series
Glaile is a premium mosaic collection that plays with the contrast between luminous glass and smooth ceramic tiles. Each sheet combines rectangular and square pieces to create a lively texture that feels decorative yet refined, making it ideal for statement walls, backsplashes and design accents.
The series is offered in multiple colourways such as soft neutrals (GR‑01), light aqua (GR‑02), deep blues (GR‑03/GR‑04) and warm amber tones (GR‑05), allowing designers to move from calm spa‑like palettes to dramatic bar or lobby interiors within one coordinated range.
Sheet format and construction
Each Glaile unit is supplied as a 308×264 mm covering sheet composed of a mix of 42×20 mm and 42×42 mm tiles, with an overall thickness of 8 mm. The mosaics are manufactured using B‑class glass combined with high‑quality ceramic glaze, resulting in a surface that reflects light beautifully and shows intentional variation in tone and pattern.
Sheets are designed for joint dimensions of approximately 308×264 mm, with 12.3 sheets required per square metre and 20 sheets per case at about 26 kg, making planning and ordering straightforward for installers and project managers.

Glaile mosaics are suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor wall applications, including:

Because this is a glass‑inclusive product, a dry adhesive installation method is recommended rather than traditional mortar. Use a white adhesive so the backing colour does not show through the translucent glass pieces, and wipe the tile surface immediately after grouting to maintain clarity and shine.
Important installation notes
Due to the handcrafted manufacturing process, each sheet may show natural variation in shape, colour width and surface character, which contributes to the unique mosaic effect. Glass components are imported, so stock levels can change quickly and samples should be checked in advance of large orders.
Avoid acid washing and avoid using conventional mortar beds; instead, fix the sheets with suitable white tile adhesive approved for glass mosaics. Always confirm local installation standards and follow Ray Tile LLC’s technical guidelines for best results.
